Description

Although our Accelerator Kit is designed for on-stage presentations, many of the tips and strategies are also applicable to presentations on-camera. (Our document “Golden Tips for Camera and Video Presentations” provides more specialized information for delivering confident on-camera presentations and is available as a free download with our Guide).

How does the Accelerator Kit work? It isolates core content from our Guide and organizes the information into practical steps and worksheets that help you prepare and deliver your presentation more effectively. It also provides specialized, supplementary materials that are not offered in the Guide.

Each Accelerator Kit comes as a package of  10 “Accelerator” modules that are presented in textbook/worksheet format in order to better accommodate the numerous tips and strategies. The following is a list of the 10 modules in each Accelerator Kit:

  1. Presentation Planner (Master Document)

This is the Accelerator Kit’s Master Document which organizes the other materials in the Kit. The Presentation Planner outlines the full flow of your presentation, refers to critical sections in the Guide, arranges the worksheets, and provides checklists for the preparation of your presentation.

  1. Audience Profile & Logistics

This document is a checklist of the information you need to gather about your audience in order to create a presentation tailored to their specific needs, desires, backgrounds and attitudes. It also lists logistical items you need to confirm, such as venue, seating arrangements, equipment and information that needs to be sent to your host beforehand.

  1. Personal Credibility Assessment plus Introduction Worksheets

This is an assessment tool which will help you identify the key areas in your personal and professional life that support your competence to deliver your upcoming presentation. The information from this assessment will be used to boost your confidence, develop an effective presentation strategy, and craft convincing introductions to be used by you or your host.

  1. Presentation Worksheets

Our Presentation Worksheets walk you through a simple “fill in the blanks” process to prepare and deliver a presentation designed to persuade, sell, inform or motivate. This process includes crafting your Message, Opening, Points, Evidence and Close.

  1. Your Maps – Cue Notes & Mnemonics

These worksheets provide examples of a Cue Sheet and Mnemonic, which are maps that help keep you on track during your presentation.

  1. A Vision Worksheet and Directions

This document provides an example of a Vision Exercise, and contains worksheets to create your own vision to help you prepare your mind and body for success.

  1. Rehearsal Outline

This document outlines practical steps to smoothly rehearse the flow of your presentation. It also includes core delivery tips to ensure that you are practicing your presentation with the necessary impact and persuasiveness required for your actual presentation.

  1. A Process For Answering Questions During the Q&A

This document provides tips, strategies and worksheets to effectively control the question and answer period after a presentation, including advice on managing tough questions.

  1. Evaluation Forms & Summaries

This document provides guidance and worksheets to prepare an evaluation form to distribute to your audience after your presentation, as well as an evaluation summary to send to your host (and to keep in your records).

  1. Performance Log

This document lists various dimensions of performance, such as delivery, style, and audience reception. After each presentation, you can complete the blank spaces in each dimension to log your strengths and weaknesses, and to keep a record of your overall progress. You can also use this document as a performance checklist to refine your rehearsals.

Although our Kit accelerates your skills and confidence, the QUICKEST path to peak performance is through a coach. We invite you to review our practical video-review coaching. Just send us a video of a rehearsed or past presentation. We will then review your video and return it with our professional tips and comments. Coaching has never been so convenient!
